Rules

Server rules

Short, enforceable, and applied the same way to everyone. Read the basics and you will be fine.

Version 2 · last updated 12 Sept 2026

1 The basics

  • 1.1 No VDM No Vehicle Deathmatch Do not use a vehicle as a weapon. Ramming players, running them down or driving into a crowd with no roleplay behind it is VDM, and it is treated the same as shooting someone for no reason. This includes clipping or knocking a rider off a motorcycle — a bike is not a target, and hitting one is VDM whether or not you meant to put them on the ground.
  • 1.2 No RDM No Random Deathmatch Do not shoot or kill anyone you have not roleplayed with. A weapon only comes out after an interaction and a REASON — walking up to a stranger and opening fire is RDM.
  • 1.3 Value life Value your life Play like your character has one life and wants to keep it. Do not run at armed people, do not talk your way into being shot because you know you will respawn, and do not treat your own death as a cheap way out of a scene. Reckless play that only makes sense because it is a game is not roleplay.
  • 1.4 Fear RP Fear for your life when you are outnumbered If you are outnumbered by more than three to one, or you have a gun on you at close range, act like it. Comply, negotiate or run — do not pull a weapon on five people and expect the situation to be taken seriously.
  • 1.5 NLR New Life Rule — stay away for 10 minutes Once you have been downed and respawned, your character does not remember who killed them or what the fight was about. You may not return to that situation or that area for 10 minutes, and you never go back for revenge.
  • 1.6 Voice You must be in voice chat A working microphone is required. Everything here happens in character and out loud, so if nobody can hear you, you cannot roleplay with them.

2 Combat

  • 2.1 Police Do not shoot at police before interacting Opening fire on an officer who has not spoken to you is RDM with extra steps. Let the stop happen, hear what they want, and let the scene decide whether it turns into a fight. Ambushing police on sight is not a plan, it is a shortcut.
  • 2.2 EMS Never kill or attack EMS Paramedics and doctors are off limits at all times, including during an active shootout. They are there so the scene can continue after someone goes down. Do not shoot them, do not take them hostage as a convenience, and do not stop them reaching a patient.
  • 2.3 Allowed Tasers are allowed Tazing is fair play and does not count as a shot fired. It is a non-lethal option, so use it where a gun would be excessive — it is the tool for ending a situation without ending a life.

3 Server-specific

  • 3.1 Allowed You may rob a player you killed while they are dead Two conditions, and you need both: you must be the one who killed them, and you must play the robbery out. What they were carrying is yours to take, but it is still roleplay, not a silent loot. Anyone you did not kill is off limits.
  • 3.2 Redzone Cayo Perico is a redzone The island is the one place the rules above relax. You may engage anyone on sight and loot anyone you kill, whether or not you were the one who started it and with no roleplay required first. Everything else still applies the moment you leave — do not carry a redzone mindset back to the mainland.

4 Playing police

  • 4.1 No abuse Police act like police — no corruption, no abuse of powers If you take the badge you play a real officer: follow procedure, give people a chance to comply, and use force in proportion to what is in front of you. Corrupt cops are not permitted — no tipping off criminals, no selling seized property, no letting a friend walk. Powers, vehicles, weapons and the MDT are for the job and nothing else, and going on duty to win a fight you were losing off duty is abuse.

5 Conduct

  • 5.1 Racism No racism, hate speech or discrimination Nothing based on race, religion, gender, sexuality or disability, in character or out of it. There is no roleplay defence for it and no warning given.
  • 5.2 Metagame No metagaming Your character only knows what your character has seen or been told in game. Do not use Discord, streams, a friend on another channel or a previous life to know where someone is, who they are or what they are carrying.
  • 5.3 Respect Respect all staff Staff decisions are final in the moment. If you disagree, take it to a report or a ticket afterwards — arguing in game stops the scene for everyone in it. Being polite costs nothing and being abusive to staff is a punishable offence on its own.
  • 5.4 Staff Do not impersonate staff Do not claim to be an admin, do not name yourself after one, and do not tell another player that staff have approved something. If you need a ruling, open a ticket and let real staff answer it.
  • 5.5 No bribes Do not bribe staff Money, items, vehicles, real-world payment or favours offered in exchange for a ruling, an item or a look the other way will end both accounts involved. Offering is enough.

6 Cheating and economy

  • 6.1 Hacking Zero tolerance for hacking Any menu, injector, modified client or third-party tool that gives you an advantage is an instant permanent ban with no appeal. Having it installed while you are connected is enough — you do not have to use it.
  • 6.2 Exploits Do not abuse exploits or bugs If something is clearly not working as intended, report it. Using it once is an exploit, using it twice is deliberate, and telling other people how to use it is worse than either. Nobody has ever been punished for reporting a bug.
  • 6.3 Economy No money duplication or economy exploits Duplicating cash or items, abusing a broken price, or any trick that creates value out of nothing will be rolled back and the accounts involved removed. This includes knowingly receiving duplicated money or items from someone else.
  • 6.4 IRL trade No real-life trading Nothing in this city may be bought or sold for real money, on any platform, in either direction. Zap Coins are the only real-money purchase that exists here and they are bought on the website — see the Shop tab.
  • 6.5 Transfers No transferring assets or characters Do not move money, vehicles, property or items to another character to dodge a wipe, a fine or a ban, and do not hand your character to someone else. Characters and their assets belong to the account they were made on. A genuine transfer needs staff permission first, in a ticket, before anything moves.

Something not clear?

If a point here does not cover your situation, ask before you act. A question in Discord takes a minute; an appeal takes a lot longer.
